Simple Scalloped Potatoes


Oozy creamy cheesy sauce crisp potato edges the perfect snack or simple side dish for grilled steak or chicken. These potatoes are so simple to make all you need to do is peel, slice and pour cream on top and sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper!


Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 2

2 Tablespoons butter
2 baking potatoes
2 shallots
1/4 cup light cream or heavy cream depending on how healthy you would like to be!
cheddar or parmesan
Freshly ground salt and pepper
  1. Put 1 Tablespoon of butter in the bottom of both baking dishes. 
  2. Slice potatoes and shallots. 
  3. Arrange in baking dishes. 
  4. Season with freshly ground salt and pepper. 
  5. pour cream over the top. 
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top. 
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft when poked with fork. 
  8. Enjoy.
